Your Guide to Apartments in Bradley

For a friendly, hometown atmosphere, Bradley apartments are the place to be. With around 15,000 residents, it's small enough and far away enough from the big city of Chicago (60 miles south of it), to call it a small town. Its beginnings were small, with barbershops, mom and pop grocers and other small businesses in 1892. Bradley now boasts as the home of Standard Starch Company, one of the largest starch manufacturers in the world, the David Bradley Manufacturing Company and Kroehler Manufacturing Company.
Northfield Square Mall, opened in 1990, is another reason for the consistent growth and tax base in Bradley. In addition, there are three other shopping complexes, as well as a variety of shops and restaurants in the older business districts of Bradley.
Thirteen parks in Bradley allow for plenty of activities for getting outside of your Bradley apartment. Most have playgrounds and picnic shelters, and you can find tennis at Blatt, Ponikvar and Quail Parks, and baseball and softball fields at R.O. Martin's Sports Complex and Lil's Park, with basketball at Blatt and Quail Parks.
Families with children have choices of private or public schools, with the Bradley-Bourbonnais high school a world class campus with a community center, Olympic pool, hundreds of networked computers, and over 2,000 students. For those pursuing higher education, nearby is Kankakee Community College for a two year degree, as well as Olivet Nazarene University with bachelors and master's degree programs. This Chicago suburb is a great place to live, work and raise a family in a Bradley apartment.
